A lifelong resident of Nashville, George Rooker graduated from Goodpasture Christian School and David Lipscomb University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. George began his forty-plus year career with Metro Government as an intern for the Assessor’s office, later serving as an appraiser, Chief Deputy Assessor, and Assessor of Property from 2008 to 2016.

He obtained designations as a Certified Public Administrator from the University of Tennessee, Assessment Administration Specialist from the International Association of Assessing Officers, and Tennessee Master Assessor certification from the State of Tennessee. George resides in Nashville with his wife Amy.
