For any events requiring a Beer Board permit approval from the Fire Marshal’s Office, an email must be sent to [email protected] with “Special Event Beer Board” typed in the subject line. The following information must be provided in the email:
- Event name, dates, and a description of the event
- Beer Board Permit Application Number
- Detailed site maps must be submitted for tents, canopies, stages, food trucks, pyrotechnics/fireworks, etc. Include entrances/exits and any emergency exits. Make sure to include a legend to clarify.
- Any tents over 200 ft² or canopies over 400 ft² require an operational permit, as well as a layout of what is under each tent.
- Mobile food trucks that perform cooking operations or use propane must have a current operational permit from the Fire Marshal’s Office.
- Any vendors using propane are required to have the proper LPG operational permit.
The Operational Permits Table contains all operational permits required by the Fire Marshal’s Office. The full list of requirements for each permit can be found by selecting that permit in the table. The table and permit documents should be used to determine if additional operational permits are required.
Any required permits must be applied for no less than fifteen (15) business days prior to the start of the event.
