What is a Firefighter?
A Firefighter is an individual who is trained to respond when called for any emergency. They respond to fires, medical calls, hazardous material incidents, motor vehicle collisions, water rescues, technical rescue and USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) responses. They work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year protecting the community they serve. Day or night, weekends and holidays, there is always a firefighter ready and waiting for the next call.
