Personnel will work out of three different stations while Nashville Fire Department addresses sewer issue
The Nashville Fire Department is temporarily relocating personnel assigned to Fire Station 5 located at 1101 8th Avenue South
A collapse of the main sewer line at the fire station means we must immediately close the fire station and relocate personnel. Maintenance estimates the repair process will take 4–6 weeks.
Effective Wednesday, April 29, 2020 personnel will be temporarily assigned to the following fire stations.
- Engine 5 will relocate to Station 21 located at 320 Joyner Avenue
- Medic 5 will relocate to Station 17 located at 3911 West End Avenue
- Rescue 2 will relocate to Station 19 located at 516 26th Avenue North.
We will update the public on the progress of restoring service from Station 5 as it becomes available.
