In compliance with Metro Water Services’ Pandemic Plan Phase 2 (performing regulatory and emergency services while maintaining a 10 foot distance from other people) and to help protect the health of our community, we are advising you of the following modifications to work processes effective March 26, 2020.
We will be reviewing our status daily and will update as conditions change.
- Water Taps, Sewer Taps and Shutdowns – all scheduled taps and shutdowns will be postponed until the State of Emergency is permanently lifted.
- Backflow Testing – all initial backflow tests scheduled through Metro Water Services Development Services will be postponed until the State of Emergency has been permanently lifted.
- Service line inspections –will continue maintaining a 10 foot distance from other people.
- Meter Issuance and Inspection –will continue when a 10 foot distance from other people can be maintained.
- Water and Sewer infrastructure inspections –will continue maintaining a 10 foot distance from other people.
- Payments – all payments must be submitted either by USPS mail or by phone. Water and sewer Capacity Fees may be mailed to Metro Water Services P.O. BOX 305225, Nashville, TN 37230-5225 and include project case number and associated property address. All other fees should be paid by credit card over the phone - please call 615-862-4084 and provide case number and/or associated property address.
