Centennial Sportsplex Pickleball

The Centennial Sportsplex Tennis Center is in the heart of Midtown Nashville, within walking distance of Centennial Park, the Parthenon, Vanderbilt University, and many retail shops, hotels, and restaurants.

Facility

The Sportsplex offers 12 courts lined for pickleball and are available to reserve during operating hours.

Court Reservation

For court availability and reservations, call 615-862-8490. Due to special events, tournaments and Sportsplex programs, there will be times when courts are not available to the general public for reservations. Clinics and Open Play

Intro to Pickleball

A 1.5-hour clinic for the novice player who has an interest in playing but hasn't had the opportunity to pick up a paddle and learn the game, or has played but wants to fully learn the basics of the sport - is held the first Saturday of each month March-November (cancelled December-February) 10-11:30 a.m. Cost is $30. Pre-registration at no charge is required, and the $30 payment is due in full on the day of the clinic. The clinic may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Online Registration

Open Play

Open play is a drop-in style activity. It is open to the public and creates a set time for those looking for other individuals to play against. Open Play is held Monday and Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday 12-5 p.m. Players will have an opportunity to challenge themselves against others in doubles play. A rotational, round-robin format is enforced. Cost is $10 per person. Open Play is not included with the purchase of a Sportsplex membership.

Open Play Rules

1. The first team to reach 9 points (not by 2), the match is over and all four players rotate off and four new players rotate on.
2. When rotating off the court, place paddle in the paddle line. Upon the next open court, the paddles that are first in line get the open court.
3. Please be aware, there is no guarantee to the number of matches you will be able to play during Open Play as attendance varies.
4. We encourage those who wish to play as a group to reserve a court outside of the Open Play times as we cannot guarantee you would be able to play with a preferred set of individuals as it is a rotational format.

Rates

• $5 per hour, per court in quick-start area (not included as a part of Sportsplex membership).
• $10 per hour for new dedicated courts (not included as a part of Sportsplex membership).
• Members may reserve seven days in advance.
• Non-members may reserve three days in advance.
• Rates are per hour, per court.
• There is a 24-hour cancellation policy to receive a full refund.
• Payment is taken at the time the reservation is made.
• 2 court max rental per patron
