We offer a variety of outdoor oriented programming with a focus on introductory and beginning skill levels. Outdoor Nashville, Metro Parks' Outdoor Recreation program, provides trips and instructional clinics for adults, families, youth, seniors, and groups with special needs. Metro Parks' staff work with individual groups to customize outdoor experiences based on each group’s goals and skill level.

- You will need to log into Metro Parks Reservation website to register.
- Type “key words for program/class you're looking for" into “search text box" click “search activities” box.
- Outdoor Nashville programs/classes will appear at bottom of page- click on the correct session tab.
- Click “sign up” button on the correct session .
- Click “sign up now” button.
All Outdoor Recreation participants must sign a liability waiver and agree to the Participants Code of Conduct to participate!

Yes, it is very common to encounter great blue herons, red tailed hawks, and even on a luck day an owl. Most wildlife in the surrounding counties are very comfortable around human and will run away after they have discovered your presence.
