Nashville has a rich variety of trails, trail groups, and trail advocates, all contributing to a trail network of more than 270 miles for hiking, biking, mountain biking, horseback riding and paddling.

- B-cycle bike rental kiosks are available throughout Nashville, including 16 at greenway trailheads.

- For hiking, contact or visit a Metro Parks nature center or Radnor Lake State Park for more information about trails, maps, and guided hikes.
- Horseback riding is allowed at two Metro Parks, with permits required for group rides.

- Maximum speed on trail is 15 mph
- Keep to the right; pass on the left
- Keep pets on-leash not exceeding 6 ft.
- Bicyclists and skaters yield to pedestrians
- Give audible signal when passing
- Stay on designated trails
- Put trash in receptacles at trailheads
- Open daily from dawn to dusk
