2022 Fort Negley Master Plan
The Fort Negley Master Plan was completed in October 2022.
Implementation of the master plan is dependent on future funding. A first phase of stonework repair will be completed in Winter 2022-23.
In November 2021, at the first public master planning meeting, Metro Parks hosted a panel discussion about the future of Fort Negley.
A video presented at the second of public meetings in July 2022 is available for viewing.
Earlier Planning Documents
Due to Fort Negley's historical significance and fragile condition, several documents have been developed over the years to assist staff with interpretation, preservation, vegetation management, and other efforts.
