Alana Hibbler
Project ManagerAlana Hibbler is a passionate Public Service Professional with over ten years of experience with municipalities, nonprofit and public agencies, and local businesses, helping to foster community development through building collaborative relationships.
Alana was raised in an Air Force household, settling in Tennessee after grade-school in Turkey. Her educational background includes graduating salutatorian from Station Camp High School in Gallatin, Tennessee, a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville, Meeting and Event Planning Certification from Belmont University, and a Master of Arts in Civic Leadership degree from Lipscomb University.
Alana is also a graduate of the 2020 Leadership Middle Tennessee class and The Academy: Powered by the Corner to Corner nonprofit. Previously, Alana served two years as an AmeriCorps member in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
In 2024, Alana joined the Metro Parks Planning and Special Projects Division. Alana's previous experiences include the Davidson County Sherriff’s Office (DCSO), and as the Assistant Superintendent of Public Works and later the Programs Coordinator for Public Works with the City of Hendersonville, Tennessee. During her time with the City of Hendersonville, the city was awarded a grant for solid waste, she coordinated a 2-year pilot recycling project with 700+ residents, and was awarded the 2020 Women Impacting the Community Award. She brings more than ten years of experience in Public Works, infrastructure, planning, design consulting, event planning, community engagement in municipal government. In her free time, Alana enjoys participating in sports, traveling, exploring new cities and cultures, and spending time with friends and family.
