Comparison of motor vehicle stop and crash driver demographics for Uniform Crime Reporting Part I crimes against population counts from the United States Census Bureau. Vehicle crash data is collected via the Tennessee Integrated Traffic Analysis Network (TITAN). Vehicle stop data is collected via Metro Nashville Police Department Form 252 - Vehicle Stops Data Form. All Metro Nashville Police Department officers are required to complete Form 252 when a driver is stopped. Under both systems, driver race and ethnicity is optional. Data can be summarized by Police Precinct, Zip, or Metro Council District.
