The Family Intervention Program is made up of these units:
Advocacy and Special Populations Unit
This unit is made up of a Licensed Master’s level supervisor and five advocates. Four of the advocates speak Spanish. One advocate specializes in working with the Refugee and Immigrant Populations.
Victims Counseling Unit
This unit is made up of Licensed Master’s level therapists. We have one clinical supervisor and eight counselors. Three of the therapists speak Spanish. We provide Brief Short-term counseling to those affected by violence. We see various types of victims of crime which include but is not limited to carjackings, domestic violence (both intimate and non-intimate), homicide (family members), robbery and sexual assault.
Youth Support Services Unit
This unit is made up of a Licensed Master’s level supervisor and therapist as well as a case manager who provides intensive case management services to youth, their families, and other victims of crime.
