When Mayme Johnson's son, Sam, woke up at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2000, he found that his mother was not at home. Sam said that was not unusual. However, she did not return that morning, and after lunch he became concerned because he could not find her. A maintenance employee had seen her around 6:30 that morning, but she has not been seen since. She was last wearing a pink blouse and a pink pair of pants.
