A 16-year-old was again arrested Tuesday, the fourth time this year he has been apprehended driving a stolen vehicle. Violent Crimes detectives located the teenager in North Nashville driving at a high rate of speed in a Hyundai Sonata with a temporary tag that was registered to a Toyota Avalon.
A vehicle stop was initiated, but the teen fled. With assistance from MNPD aviation, the Sonata was followed to Judd Drive where the teen fled on foot. He was quickly apprehended.
The recovered Hyundai was stolen in Clarksville earlier this month. Another stolen vehicle, a Toyota Camry, was recovered nearby.
He was charged in juvenile court with vehicle theft, evading arrest, reckless driving, driving without a license, and possession of burglary tools.
