Office of Alternative Policing Strategies

The Metro Nashville Police Department's Office of Alternative Policing Strategies is responsible for creating and overseeing a co-response approach to mental health calls for service, a juvenile diversion program, and a gun violence reduction program.

To work in collaboration with community partners to deliver evidence based products which provide viable alternatives for those dealing with behavioral health issues, struggling juveniles, and adults involved in gun violence.
