In recognition of the 100th police officer trainee class since 1975, Monday afternoon’s graduation of 45 new Metro police officers is scheduled to be held outdoors for the first-time, weather permitting. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony is being planned for the south plaza of Nissan Stadium, with an indoor club level as the backup.
Parking is available in Nissan Stadium’s Lot R. The ceremony will be livestreamed on the MNPD’s YouTube Channel.
The 39 new police officers of Session 100 began training at the academy last November. They will be joined in the graduation ceremony by six veteran officers from other jurisdictions who are transitioning their careers to Nashville. The lateral officers began training in February.
