Convicted armed robbery suspect Dshon Stewart, 29, was arrested overnight and charged with two recent bank robberies. Stewart was identified as the man who robbed both the Regions Bank branch on Clarksville Pike on March 12th and the Bank of America on Dickerson Pike on March 20.
Stewart was just released from an 8-year prison sentence for his involvement in multiple aggravated robberies in 2017.
A search of his residence last night also yielded the recovery of a stolen pistol, two pounds of marijuana and $2,400 cash.
Stewart is charged with robbery and aggravated robbery. Additional charges are expected.
He is currently jailed on $80,000 bond.
