Detectives investigating this month’s murder of over-the-road truck driver David White, 37, of North Carolina, believe his assailant arrived and fled from the crime scene in a four-door Dodge Ram 1500 Classic Quad Cab 4 x 2 pickup truck. The truck has tinted windows, black rims, chrome door handles, and a chrome RAM emblem on the rear.
White was found deceased January 8th inside the cab of his rig that was parked on Lucas Lane adjacent to Love’s Travel Center in East Nashville. An employee of the travel center found White unresponsive after his company could not reach him and asked that someone check on his welfare. White was last seen alive at 7:20 p.m. the night before buying food at the travel center.
Anyone with information about the Dodge Ram pickup truck, which is believed to be a 2015 to 2022 model and was captured by a travel center surveillance camera, is asked to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
