A former coach at Donelson Christian Academy surrendered to officers this evening after an arrest warrant was issued today charging him with aggravated statutory rape.
Tyler Forte, 32, is accused of having multiple sexual encounters with a 17-year-old DCA student four years ago when he was a coach at the school. There is an 11-year age difference between the two.
The investigation into this case began at the end of September when the now adult victim came forward to police.
Forte was booked at the Downtown Detention Center and released on a $10,000 bond.
