A coordinated effort between Domestic Violence, West Precinct, and Specialized Investigations detectives led to last night’s arrest of a Nashville man wanted for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend. Selvin Geovani Pacheco-Loza, 38, had outstanding charges stemming from the May incident where he shot and injured the woman outside her home.
The woman ran away from Pacheco-Loza after being shot once in each leg. He told her to get into his car so he could take her somewhere to kill her.
Pacheco-Loza fled after the victim called police.
He was located last night at his River Road apartment and taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit with detectives.
Pacheco-Loza was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping. He is currently being held in lieu of $400,000 bond.
