The Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the September 26, 2021 death of Kenneth Williams, 57, as a homicide. Williams was discovered on the ground by a passerby on Lewis Street with traumatic head injuries.
Williams had been dead for several hours before he was found. Initially, detectives were not able to find any witnesses or video surveillance. But over the course of the investigation, detectives learned from a third-party source that Williams’ injuries may have been caused during a physical fight. The motive behind the assault and the identity of the suspect involved remain under investigation.
