Timethia Bryant, 22, who was wanted for the April 30 shooting of her deceased grandmother’s 75-year-old boyfriend inside his Meridian Street residence, is in custody.
According to the victim, Bryant came to his home asking about her grandmother’s jewelry. He let her inside. Once they were in the bedroom where the jewelry was located, Bryant allegedly produced a handgun and shot him multiple times. She fled and he called police. He was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Bryant is charged with attempted murder. She is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
