Lou Anne Corcoran
Evidence Receiving Unit SupervisorLou Anne Corcoran began her career with Metropolitan Nashville Police Department in 1994. She has managed administrative duties in many branches of the department including the Criminal Investigations Division and Evidence Storage Section.
In 2013 Mrs. Corcoran was promoted to the Forensics Services Division as Evidence Receiving Unit Supervisor for Metro Nashville Police Department’s Nationally Accredited Crime Laboratory. Forensic testing begins with her approval of items submitted to the lab for analysis and she oversees a staff of technicians.
Mrs. Corcoran holds an Associate Degree in Police Administration from Nashville State Community College.
She has attended the FBI Citizens Academy through the Memphis Chapter and holds a certification and membership through the International Association of Property and Evidence since 2009.
