This project will construct an 10-foot sidewalk, 4-foot grass strip, and curb/gutter along the east side of Dickerson Pike with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps, markings, and an improved and more visible crossing at Gatewood Avenue. This project will extend the existing sidewalk infrastructure, which currently ends at Douglas Avenue.
This project is federally funded, locally managed and is monitored by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Local Programs Development Office.

Phase: Right-of-Way Acquisition
The Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT) expects to began appraisals on affected properties by the end of the year. Inspections should be completed on all tracts and the project should enter the right-of-way acquisition process within the next few months.
