Guardrail Program
The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) maintains approximately 4,500 guardrails to current Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) standards, with the purpose of ensuring the traveling public’s safety by reducing the severity of roadway departures. The NDOT Guardrail Program investigates, inspects, surveys, designs, and documents all guardrail projects.
Request for a new guardrail to be installed, repaired, or removed on a Metro roadway.
