Nashville’s Responsible Ride Program
While Nashville's on-street metered parking offers generous time limits to explore (up to 10 hours), driving home under the influence is never recommended and necessitates alternative modes of transportation.
Prioritize safety and choose responsible transportation such as public transport, ridesharing services, a taxi, or a designated driver, to return to your local home address.
Should you opt for these safer options and possess documented proof (e.g., receipts) of your responsible travel home, a single parking violation incurred during this period will be waived.
To see if you qualify for a waiver, complete the parking ticket waiver form.
Waivers must be requested within 24 hours of receiving the parking ticket.
