The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure manages parking resources to improve traffic flow and access needs for residents, businesses and visitors to our city, while promoting compliance to Metro’s Traffic and Parking Code. This includes enforcement of parking regulations, oversight of Metro-owned lots and garages, parking permit requests, and installation and maintenance of parking meters. The department does not manage private off-street parking lots and garages.
