Council District 17 Street Sweeping Pilot Program
The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) is beginning a Street Sweeping Pilot Program in Council District 17. Starting in October, on the first and second Thursday of each month, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., NDOT will sweep the designated streets.

What this means for you:
- Community members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the street sweeping schedule in areas where they park. The best way to do this is to read the signs on the street where you park.
- Streets will be posted with No Parking signs for sweeping days. During this period, vehicles will not be cited, but the information will be documented.
- NDOT will notify the Council Representative and residents within the pilot program area through community meetings, door hangers, and social media posts.
- On the week of sweeping yard signs will be placed on the designated streets.
