Project Description
Status: begin 90% Design Phase
This project will bridge multiple sidewalk gaps on Highway 100, improving walkability and pedestrian safety. It will provide safe connections for people walking to neighborhoods and destinations for transportation and recreation.
The estimated construction start date is March 2025.
Vision Zero
This project was not identified along the Vision Zero High Injury Network. This does not mean, however, that pedestrians, motorists, and/or cyclists are not facing safety challenges while traveling along Highway 100.
WalknBike
According to the 2022 WalknBike plan, this project is included within the Priority Sidewalk Network and is included in the work plan. This project will provide safer crossings and enhance connectivity for pedestrians utilizing the sidewalk network along Highway 100.

- 60% Design Meeting: Highway 100 Sidewalk Project Community Meeting on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- 30% Design Meeting: Highway 100 Sidewalk Project Community Meeting on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 6 p.m.
