Acceptable Forms of Payment
The Transportation Licensing Commission accepts the following forms of payment:
- Cash
- Credit Card (2.3% fee assessed by the electronic processing company (Metro Ordinance BL2008-18). No part of the fee goes to Metro.)
- Cashier’s Check
- Pre-printed Company/Business check with routing and account number, dollar amount, and signature. (Individual or business name and address must be pre-printed in the check’s upper left corner.)

Entertainment Transportation Vehicle (ETV) Routing Reviews
Per Section 805 F of the Transportation Licensing Commission (TLC) Rules and Procedures, “To enhance safety and encourage traffic flow, entertainment transportation vehicles must travel in a manner consistent with the flow of traffic and may not operate on or between the northernmost boundary of Union Street and the southernmost boundary of Korean Veterans Boulevard, and on or between 1st Avenue and the westernmost boundary of 8th Avenue, during the rush hour period between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. During this time period, ETVs may only operate on routes or zones outside of that area, that are approved by the Director of the Transportation Licensing Commission (TLC) and the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure's (NDOT) Chief Engineer.”
The approved Entertainment Transportation Vehicle (ETV) routes are applicable Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Slow Moving Vehicle Study
KCI conducted a study of slow moving vehicles as a follow up from a previous study. In addition, the materials used for the presentation to the TLC is included.
