Homicide Unit detectives are pursuing solid leads in Saturday night’s fatal shooting of a man, apparently with his own gun, in the 1600 block of Antioch Pike during a fight with three other individuals. The victim, who appeared to be a young adult, has yet to be identified.
After reviewing area surveillance cameras, detectives believe the victim was riding a skateboard just after 11 p.m. when he was approached by three individuals. One of the three others appeared to have retrieved the gun and shot the victim.
The victim ran before collapsing in front of a nearby business’ lawn. He died at the scene. The three others fled on foot.
