Violent Crimes detectives today located a 2017 Dodge Charger taken during a carjacking Monday. They followed the vehicle to a convenience store at 4199 Nolensville Pike where the driver, Kelvin Ramirez, 22, fled on foot but was quickly taken into custody.
Recovered from the Dodge Charger were a pistol, ski mask, cocaine, marijuana, and $1,930 cash. During an interview, Ramirez admitted his involvement in drug sales. He is charged with vehicle theft, evading arrest, unlawful weapon possession (not a legal resident of the U.S.), possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony, and felony cocaine & marijuana possession.
