Vehicle Crimes detectives arrested one of MNPD’s Most Wanted suspects yesterday on Lebanon Pike at Central Pike following a crime spree over the past two months. Thaddous Baskette, 30, of Joelton, is alleged to have stolen a victim’s Dodge Ram pickup truck on June 21 on Greenbrier Road and proceeded to run over the victim with it as he fled.
The victim suffered severe injuries and spent more than a week in the hospital. His credit cards were also stolen and used at the Zmart on Dickerson Pike where video footage aided in identifying Baskette.
In July, Baskette is accused of stealing a Mack dump truck as well as tools from a location on Harper Road, a Honda four-wheeler on Cato Road, and attempting to steal a victim’s Ford Ranger also from a home on Cato Road.
At the time of yesterday’s arrest, Baskette was found with a glass crack pipe and marijuana.
His 13 outstanding arrest warrants include especially aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, trespassing, vandalism, and vehicle thefts. He is now jailed on $163,00 bond.
