Specialized Investigations Division TITANS detectives a short time ago arrested Brian Connard, Jr., 22, on a first-degree murder indictment for the April 12 fatal shooting of Vidal T. York, 23, at The Cascades apartment complex at 3300 Murfreesboro Pike.
Investigation by Homicide Unit Detective Phil Klarer led to the identification of Connard as the suspect. Connard was taken into custody when a car in which he was riding parked on Hermitage Avenue. Inside the vehicle were three guns, one of which was reported stolen.
A Criminal Court judge set Connard’s bond at $100,000.
