Update: Teddy Cooper surrendered himself at the Downtown Detention Center on Monday and is jailed in lieu of $180,000 bond.
Domestic Violence detectives are asking for the community’s assistance in locating Teddy Cooper, 21, who is now a fugitive wanted on outstanding warrants charging attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
The warrants stem from Thursday night’s shooting at an apartment on Star Boulevard in Madison that left Cooper’s 29-year-old roommate critically injured. Cooper and the victim lived in the apartment with their girlfriends. The victim was shot twice and is in critical condition at Skyline Medical Center. The two men were involved in an argument that reportedly stemmed from an ongoing dispute between their girlfriends.
Anyone seeing Cooper or knowing where he could be is asked to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
