Detectives investigating the January 12 murder of Uriel Miller on I-40 east are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the owner or driver of a Honda Odyssey minivan from which shots were fired at Miller just past the Fesslers Lane exit.
The Honda Odyssey van appears to be silver and is believed to be around a 2015 model. Dash cam video from a tractor-trailer rig shows the minivan following Miller’s Crown Victoria sedan very closely at around 2 a.m. on January 12 before it abruptly changes lanes in front of the truck and pulls up alongside Miller’s car on the passenger side. It is then that detectives believe the shots were fired. Miller, 26, who lived in Rutherford County, died at the scene after his car came to rest along the retaining wall between the east and west interstate travel lanes.
Anyone with information about the Honda Odyssey minivan shown in the attached photographs and dash camera video is asked to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
