Homicide Unit detectives are continuing to investigate a potential drug motive in Wednesday night’s targeted shooting of Steven Yates, 34, of Mt. Juliet, outside a manufacturing warehouse on Old Franklin Road. Yates was found with a gunshot wound to his leg.
