East Precinct detectives are working to identify a man who pistol whipped another man on Porter Road January 28. The victim was engaged in an argument with another person in the parking lot when the suspect, seen in an attached photo, approached them and began video recording the conversation.
The victim asked the man to stop, but he then engaged in a verbal argument with the victim before striking him in the eye with a pistol.
The suspect left in a dark colored Dodge Dart with purple on the bumper.
The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene.
