Violent Crimes detectives last night arrested Adrian Ewin, 24, for vehicular homicide following the January 28 crash that killed Christina Holt on Old Murfreesboro Pike. Ewin admitted to officers in an interview that he’d consumed alcohol at a bar in East Nashville prior to the crash.
Holt was the passenger of a Ford Focus when it was struck head-on by Ewin’s Chevrolet Malibu. She died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Ewin is also charged with two counts of vehicular assault for the critical injuries sustained by the 63-year-old driver of the Focus and 23-month-old child in the backseat.
Ewin is currently being held in lieu of $90,000 bond.
