Update: Stephanie Raymer was taken into custody this afternoon by Specialized Investigations Division detectives on Southwood Park Place.
North Precinct officers Sunday night arrested Jermaine Jenkins, 42, on an outstanding warrant charging him with the September 2022 murder of Christopher Goodale, 43, on West Trinity Lane. Officers were aware that Jenkins frequented Hampton Street and located him there. He is now jailed in lieu of $500,000 on a charge of criminal homicide.
Goodale was found in a gas station parking lot with a fatal gunshot wound. The investigation led by Detective Ben Hughes, identified not only Jenkins as the suspected shooter, but two other individuals who are tied to the getaway car. William Henderson III, 38, the car’s owner, and Stephanie Raymer, 41, who was driving the car when it was recovered by police, are both facing charges of accessory after the fact and evidence tampering. Henderson is in custody. Raymer is at large.
A dispute between Jenkins and Goodale is believed to have been the motive for the fatal shooting.
