A sellout crowd is expected at Nissan Stadium Thursday for the 24th Annual TransPerfect Music City Bowl, this year featuring the University of Tennessee and Purdue University. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. Stadium gates open 12 noon. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
Nissan Stadium parking lots will open at 8 a.m. to those with parking passes. There is no cash parking on the stadium campus.
The MNPD will be utilizing the same traffic plan as that used for Titans games. The Woodland Street Bridge will close at 11 a.m. Thursday and will be available to only pedestrians and shuttle buses. Fans driving into Nashville on game day are urged to follow the guidance provided on interstate message boards. Downtown parking information can be found by logging onto parkitdowntown.com. Nissan Stadium is a short walk from downtown via the Woodland Street Bridge or the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
Fans are urged to arrive early and have a parking plan.
Bag Restrictions
Those attending this game are reminded that the National Football League's restrictions on what can be brought into stadiums are strictly enforced for all events at Nissan Stadium, including college games. No backpacks, duffle bags, etc., are permitted inside the stadium. For ladies, anything larger than a clutch-style purse must be a clear plastic bag, medical items excluded. Fans are also reminded that Nissan Stadium is a "cashless" venue; debit or credit cards only are accepted. Additionally, fans are reminded to approach the gates with their tickets pulled up on their mobile phones ready to scan.

Downtown workers are urged to be aware of gameday congestion much of the afternoon/evening and to plan accordingly.
Rideshare Plan for Nissan Stadium (Uber & Lyft)
Ingress: Drivers will access the drop off location on Crutcher Street from either S. 2nd Street or S. 5th Street.
Egress: Drivers will take S. 5th Street to Crutcher Street for pick up.
Battle of the Bands
The annual Battle of the Bands competition, featuring the marching bands from Tennessee and Purdue will take place at the intersection of Broadway and 2nd Avenue at 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 29th. Second Avenue from Demonbreun to Commerce Streets will be closed on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the Battle of the Bands. Broadway from 1st to 3rd Avenues will also be closed for this event.
