Fugitive/parolee Ronald L. McKnight, 43, who was wanted on 32 outstanding warrants related to aggravated burglaries, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated robbery (dating back to 2022) is in custody.
North Precinct and Vehicle Crimes detectives Wednesday night spotted McKnight driving a Dodge Charger near Buena Vista Pike. They followed him to an apartment complex on Heritage Drive where he fled on foot but was quickly apprehended. McKnight was in possession of approximately 20 grams of cocaine.
Over the past year, despite intensive investigative work, McKnight eluded capture. His aggravated kidnapping and robbery charges stem from a January 20, 2023, case in which he is accused of entering a Goodlettsville residence by kicking in a rear door. Once inside, he allegedly robbed a woman of her jewelry and other belongings at gunpoint.
McKnight is also charged with evading arrest and cocaine possession from his apprehension yesterday. He is being held in lieu of $645,000 bond.
