A successful Street Racer Initiative on Saturday night, in collaboration with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, led to the arrest of six people and 20 traffic stops across Davidson County.
Two adults and two juveniles were taken into custody on 14 charges, including reckless driving, evading arrest, and unlawful possession of weapons. One of the adults was tracked to Hickman County by air where he was arrested and returned to Nashville.
Two other adults were given misdemeanor citations for reckless driving and not having drivers’ licenses.
The MNPD Traffic Division is committed to continuing its investigations into street racer groups that are causing damage and harm through their dangerous driving.
