Investigation by West Precinct detectives led to last night’s arrest of suspected serial burglar Davi Reynolds Jr., 47.
Reynolds is charged with theft of merchandise and assault stemming from a June 29 shoplifting at Burlington, 8141 Sawyer Brown Road.
Reynolds is accused of driving a woman to the store in his blue Honda SUV where she loaded up a shopping cart with approximately $1,500 worth of merchandise. She fled through the emergency exit without paying. When a witness began taking photos of Reynolds, who was helping the woman put the stolen items in his SUV, he threatened to run them over, placing them in fear.
At the time of his arrest, Reynolds was free on $25,000 bond after his June 29 arrest for burglarizing the Flower Mart by Sunrise, 4503 Harding Pike. His bond on these latest charges is set at $20,000.
