Commander, South PrecinctI have been a Police Officer for 26 years starting with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office in 1996. I transferred to the Metro Nashville Police Department in 2001 and was promoted to Police Sergeant in 2010. During my time with the Metro Police Department, I have worked in the Traffic Unit, as a Fatal Crash Investigator, DUI Enforcement Officer, and a Hit and Run Investigator, Domestic Violence Detective, Patrol Sergeant, and Flex Sergeant. In 2019 I was promoted to Police Lieutenant and assigned to patrol for one year. After that year I returned to the Domestic Violence Division as the Lieutenant over the Vulnerable Adult Protective Unit, and the High-Risk Investigative Team. In March of 2022, I was promoted to Police Captain and had the privilege to oversee the Domestic Violence Division. December 1, 2022, I was promoted to Commander at South Precinct. I am honored to serve in this position, I am a Nashville native and grew up in the Woodbine area of South Nashville. I graduated from Glencliff High School in 1992, so South has a special place in my heart and will always be home to me.
