Misty Hobbs
Lieutenant, Drill and Ceremony TeamLieutenant Hobbs began her law enforcement career in 2005. She has worked as a Zone Officer, Flex Officer, School Resource Officer, District Sergeant, Precinct Investigations Sergeant, and a Community Affairs Coordinator Sergeant, prior to being promoted to Lieutenant in 2021.
She currently serves as the Investigations Lieutenant at the Hermitage Precinct in addition to being the Metro Nashville Police Department Drill and Ceremony Team Commander. Lieutenant Hobbs has completed training on issues surrounding law enforcement officers killed in action and in conducting police funerals. Lieutenant Hobbs is a part of the Metro Nashville Police Drill and Ceremony Team’s competition team that competes in the National Honor Guard Competition in Washington D.C. during National Police Week. Lieutenant Hobbs was on the last Metro Nashville Police Drill and Ceremony competition team to win 1st place in the competition.
