Update: Arsenio Miller surrendered at the Criminal Warrants Division tonight. He was taken into custody and booked on his outstanding warrants related to the April 14 fatal crash.
The continuing investigation into the April 14 hit and run collision on Gallatin Pike near Marion Avenue that killed TSU football player Chazen Page, 20, resulted in this afternoon’s issuance of arrest warrants against Arsenio D. Miller, 33, on charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving death, failure to render aid, failure to give immediate notice of a crash, and failure to report a crash.
Page was crossing Gallatin Pike just before 1:30 a.m. when he was hit by a maroon SUV. A Ford Edge registered to Miller with front end damage consistent with striking a pedestrian was discovered on the evening of April 15 in the back yard of a home on Oakhurst Drive. That home belongs to a relative of Miller.
Miller refused to be interviewed by police in April. He remains under investigation as officers work to conclusively identify the driver of the SUV in the early morning hours of April 14. The warrants issued this afternoon allege that it is reasonable for Miller, as the owner of the vehicle, to have knowledge of who was driving and that the SUV was involved in a fatal collision.
Miller is presently at-large. Anyone knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
