South and Hermitage Precinct Detectives are working to identify four young men involved in three separate Monday morning armed robberies in apartment complex parking lots, one of which involved the serious wounding of a female victim.
The first victim, a 23-year-old male, left his Heritage Park Drive apartment at 5 a.m. and was walking in the parking lot toward his vehicle when two men got out of a white sedan and pointed handguns at him. The victim ran away and called police from his apartment. The suspects took a pistol and gym bag from the victim’s pickup truck.
The second victim, age 69, was robbed about 20 minutes later at Oakwell Farms Apartments. He had just returned home from work when four suspects, all armed with handguns, approached him. They took his wallet and two of the suspects drove off in his 2020 Honda Civic while the other two fled in a white sedan.
The third victim had just arrived home from work at the Arbor Hills Apartments on Arbor Crest Boulevard at 6:30 a.m. when she was confronted by two suspects, one on each side of her vehicle. According to witnesses, they heard the 24-year-old victim say she didn’t have any money, then two gunshots. The victim was struck in the upper torso. She was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects in these robberies are all described as young black men who wore all black clothing, including masks.
Anyone with information about the robbery suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
