Violent Crimes Division detectives are working to identity three young carjacking suspects who Wednesday at 9:20 a.m. approached a woman in the 4th floor of a parking garage at 2605 Charlotte Pike and demanded her 2007 Lexus GS350 sedan at knifepoint.
One of them drove off in the car while the other two fled on foot. The Lexus was recovered later in the day at the Family Dollar, 1015 Jefferson Street. It had been left running and had significant body damage, including a blown tire.
The suspects are described as being in their mid-teens, one male white, one male black, and one male Hispanic.
