Specialized Investigations Division detectives are working to identify the gunman who on May 26 fired shots near the intersection of Linbar Drive and Wallace Road, striking a passing motorist in the hand.
The shooting occurred at 9:15 p.m. It is possible that the male victim was driving his pickup truck through the area and was struck by crossfire between two other parties. The suspect got into the passenger side of a light colored sedan (photo attached) and fled the scene.
Anyone who recognizes the suspected gunman from the attached photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
